INSPIRATIONAL!!!!!!!!!!
Alright so a couple hours ago it was a Ustream with Rembrant Duran and Great Scott. Shit was sooooo inspirational. I mean it motivated me to do what I need and how to do it. If you were watching it then you would know what Im talking. Like Remy said being from New York its already like a billion people who try to get in the business industry. The only words I needed to hear were " NEVER GIVE UP " Then to here their stories on how they made it in the industry just made it even better!!. So thanks to you guys :)

Tell me a little about yourself. Where are you from?
My name is Jovany Perez. I'm 15. Queens, NYC. Designer/Artist/Young Style guy
What does fashion mean to you?
It's a form of art. A way in which we can express our selves through clothing and our outfits.
Who are some of your favorite designers?
Ralph Lauren, Jonothan Ive (Apple), Tinker Hatfield (Designer of Air Jordan 3), Hedi Slimane
What and who are the Young Crafter$?
"Young Crafters" is a small team that consists of (Diggy Simmons, Lyna Zerrouki and myself). We are all trying to build our names as designers in the fashion world and we came together to make sure the world knows we exist. All three off are working on building a label of some sort. Not only are we a style team but we want to encourage young kids like us to strive for their dreams as well.
What are some of your favorite clothing stores/catalogs/websites?

Tell me a little about yourself. Where are you from?
My Name is Rembrandt Duran, Im from the Lower East Side in NYC and I'm Mexican Dutch and Jewish! Designer, ex stylist and lover of all things stylish.
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion to me.... fashion to me isn't real. Just like love isn't really real. Its something you feel and beleive in. It can be as real as you want it to be, even more real to you than something you can feel and hold. It's something that can inspire the mind and eyes. It may sound corny, but thats what fashion is to me. I'm all about fun and loving what you do and not be SO serious. But at the same time fun is serious to me lol
Who are some of your favorite designers?
Ralph Lauren ALLLL DDDAAAYYY!!!! haha but yeah I honestly don't follow fashion like that anymore. I'm too busy doing my own thing. I respect Marc Jacobs and Karl Lagerfeld the most because they're iconic and historic and hardworking.
Where did you get the concept of Assman?
I got the concept from my love of cartoons. I actually made him up with my friends in 3rd grade. I used to want to be a cartoonist and LOVED cartoons. But as I went into high school I started to get into fashion and realized thats what I wanted to do! But I could never let go of my first love. So i decided to infuse the two of them and now Assman is ready to takeover the fashion world!
What are some of your favorite clothing stores/catalogs/websites?
Ummmm Ralph Lauren, Rugby, Club Moncao, Bape, and a bunch of sneaker brands. Like Diet Butcher Slim Skin and Dior. Common Projects too! Im up on my sneaker game just not on my clothing game haha

I dress like a damn cartoon. I always had a vivid imagination and and would play cartoon fights with my friends and from then on I always wanted to be a cartoon. So obviously that could never happen. So I just dress like one haha
Where do you get your inspiration?
Case Closed. Conan Edogawa and Jimmy Kudo. Google all three of those and you will see where I get it from. Also Music Videos. I love the Heartbreaker Video by MSTRKRFT and Daft Punk Videos.

Janelle Monae
Alright sooooo Janelle Monae is starting to become one of my favorite artist. From her style to her muisc. A song off her album "The Archandroid" called "Cold War" just set it off for me I was blown away by her talent!. Of course you cant forget her first single "Tightrope" and the remix. The whole album was dope shit. I love that she isn't afraid to get out there with her style. I know everyone is wondering why she only wears black and white colors and it seems like she doesn't change her clothes but I don't think she cares. In a recent interview that I saw that same question was asked. She calls her style her everyday work uniform. Well there is just a little taste of why she is one of my favorite artist.
